Here is the Visconti-Sforza Lovers card.

At the Mousetrap play, Hamlet says to Ophelia that he could interpret between her and her love if he could see the puppets dallying.

This Lovers card shows the lovers dallying, or dancing, as Cupid stands on a pedestal above them. Cupid has a rope in each hand, that he pulls on. The ropes are the puppet strings, that make the lovers dance, like puppets. Cupid can't see the lovers, however, because he's blindfolded. The blindfold symbolizes the old idea that love is blind.

If Ophelia were the woman in the picture, and Hamlet were in the position of Cupid, Hamlet would not be able to see Ophelia and her love, dancing like puppets, because he would be blindfolded.
