Here are some links to other websites that may be of interest to students and scholars of Hamlet, and Shakespeare.

The Enfolded Hamlet
- Bernice W. Kliman's Enfolded Hamlet combines the texts of the Second Quarto and First Folio versions of the play, which allows easy and direct comparison of the two texts. It's a uniquely valuable resource for anybody who takes a serious interest in Hamlet. Even more, the line numbers link to historical commentary about the play, and other information.
Hamlet Works
- Hamlet Works is the online "headquarters" for the Enfolded Hamlet. The website also offers bibliographies, concordances, facsimilies, and other resources, not only about Hamlet, but Shakespeare in general, and English in general. It includes the multi-volume Century Dictionary online.
Internet Shakespeare Editions
- ISE offers both text transcriptions and facsimilies of Hamlet, and other Shakespeare writings. The most valuable part of the website, for those interested in Hamlet, may be the facsimilies of the First Quarto, Second Quarto, and First Folio. If you want to know what Hamlet looked like as it was originally printed, you can see that at ISE. The website also offers a considerable amount of other material about Shakespeare. The link will take you to the "Hamlet Home Page" at ISE.
Elizabethan Authors
- Offers a collection of Elizabethan era writings, some of which are hard to find. Of special interest are the remarkable text glossaries, which are unusually extensive and detailed, and which go far beyond what one normally sees.
The Collected Works of Shakespeare (a Search Engine)
- The "Matty" searcher, by Matty Farrow, searches the full texts of the Shakespeare plays and poems, and has some sophisticated features, including proximity and boolean searches. Although the Hamlet text used is the Moby version, which has serious faults, the Matty searcher is still a handy resource for quickly and easily checking words and phrases in the Shakespeare writings. (The site does have texts of all the Shakespeare writings, but they're only the usual thing that can be found anywhere.)
Renascense Editions
- Renascense Editions offers a good collection of writings published between A.D. 1477 and 1799, spanning the time of Shakespeare, and including authors both famous and obscure. The edition of Hamlet that's offered is a faulty modern transcription of no great value, but the writings on the website are mostly original spelling editions, which are well done, and are of considerable interest.
Luminarium
- Offers a nice collection of literature from Medieval and later times, with brief biographies of the authors, and other information.
